- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 apple, thinly sliced
- 1 pear, thinly sliced
- 1 cinnamon stick

- In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, apple cider, brandy, and sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add the sliced apple, sliced pear, and cinnamon stick to the pitcher.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
- Just before serving, add the sparkling water or club soda to the sangria.
- Serve chilled over ice in wine glasses, making sure to include some of the fruit in each glass.
Notes
- For a sweeter sangria, you can add more sugar or a touch of honey.
- Feel free to add other fall fruits like cranberries or orange slices.
- If you don’t have brandy, you can substitute with rum.
