Ingredients
Scale
4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Rub the olive oil lightly over the salmon.
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
Spoon the garlic butter mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Serve immediately.
Notes
For pan-searing, melt the butter in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the salmon flesh-side down for 3 minutes, then flip. Spoon the remaining garlic butter over the top and transfer the skillet to a 400°F oven for 5-7 minutes.
Asparagus or steamed broccoli make excellent low-carb side dishes.
