A simple recipe for making a refreshing, café-style iced vanilla chai latte at home using chai concentrate.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 oz chai tea concentrate
  • 4 oz milk or dairy substitute (e.g., almond, oat)
  • 1 to 2 tbsp vanilla syrup or 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  2. Pour the chai tea concentrate over the ice.
  3. Add the vanilla syrup or extract to the glass.
  4. Pour the milk or dairy substitute over the other ingredients.
  5. Stir well until all components are combined and chilled.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness or chai strength as desired.

Notes

  • For a stronger vanilla flavor, use vanilla syrup instead of extract.
  • If you prefer a sweeter drink, increase the amount of vanilla syrup used.
  • Use cold brew chai concentrate for the best flavor.
  • If you do not have vanilla syrup, you can mix 1/4 cup of sugar with 1/4 cup of water and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, heating until the sugar dissolves to make a quick syrup.
