A simple recipe for making a refreshing iced latte using espresso, almond milk, and honey at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 shots espresso (about 2 oz)
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Brew two shots of espresso and set aside to cool slightly.
  2. In a separate glass or jar, combine the honey and the slightly cooled espresso. Stir until the honey dissolves completely into the coffee.
  3. Fill a serving glass with ice cubes.
  4. Pour the sweetened espresso mixture over the ice.
  5. Top with 1 cup of cold almond milk.
  6. Stir well before drinking to mix the layers.

Notes

  • For a frothier texture, you can shake the almond milk vigorously in a sealed container before pouring it over the coffee mixture.
  • If you do not have an espresso machine, use 1/2 cup of strong cold brew concentrate instead of espresso shots.
  • Use raw or clover honey for the best flavor.
  • If you prefer a sweeter drink, add the honey directly to the cold almond milk and whisk before adding the coffee.
