Make a cafe-style Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Latte at home using a simple homemade brown sugar syrup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee or cold brew concentrate
  • 1 cup oat milk (full-fat recommended)
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Make the brown sugar syrup: Combine brown sugar and water in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  2. Brew your coffee or prepare your cold brew concentrate. Let it cool slightly if hot.
  3. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  4. Pour the cooled brown sugar syrup over the ice. Use 2 to 3 tablespoons of syrup per serving, adjusting to your taste.
  5. Pour the cooled coffee or cold brew over the syrup and ice.
  6. Top with 1 cup of oat milk.
  7. Stir well before drinking.

Notes

  • For the best flavor and texture, use a full-fat oat milk brand.
  • If you prefer a stronger coffee flavor, use cold brew concentrate.
  • You can store leftover brown sugar syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
