- 1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Pat the salmon cubes dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the salmon cubes to the hot skillet in a single layer. Sear for 2 minutes without moving them.
- Flip the salmon cubes and cook for another 1-2 minutes until lightly browned on all sides.
- Reduce the heat to low. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the honey and soy sauce. Stir gently to coat all the salmon pieces.
- Cook for 1 minute, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly into a glaze. Do not overcook the salmon.
- Remove the skillet from the heat. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving immediately.
Notes
- You can use an air fryer set to 400°F (200°C) for 6-8 minutes instead of pan-searing for a different texture.
- If you prefer a thicker glaze, let the sauce simmer for an extra minute after adding the honey and soy sauce.
