Make this quick and flavorful Gochujang Honey Glazed Salmon on a single sheet pan for an easy weeknight dinner with minimal cleanup, ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 pound asparagus, trimmed, or broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, for garnish
  • 2 green onions, sliced, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the gochujang, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the glaze.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on one side of the prepared baking sheet. Brush half of the gochujang glaze evenly over the tops of the salmon fillets.
  4. Toss the trimmed asparagus or broccoli with the remaining half of the glaze and spread them out on the other side of the baking sheet around the salmon.
  5. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145 degrees Fahrenheit (63 degrees Celsius).
  6. Remove the sheet pan from the oven. Garnish the salmon and vegetables with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For crispier edges, you can briefly place the pan under the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning the glaze.
  • If you prefer less spice, reduce the amount of gochujang by one tablespoon and substitute with an extra tablespoon of honey.
  • Ensure your vegetables are cut into uniform sizes so they cook evenly alongside the fish.
