Make this easy, cheesy pull-apart bread using soft dinner rolls coated in a rich garlic Parmesan butter sauce and baked until golden.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (12-count) package refrigerated soft dinner rolls (like Hawaiian rolls)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus 2 tablespoons for topping
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Lightly grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  2. Place the dinner rolls into a large bowl. Do not separate them.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create the garlic butter.
  4. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the rolls in the bowl. Gently toss the rolls until they are evenly coated with the butter mixture.
  5. Arrange the coated rolls closely together in the prepared baking dish.
  6. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the rolls are heated through and the edges are lightly golden brown.
  7. Remove the dish from the oven. Sprinkle the remaining 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese over the top.
  8. Return the dish to the oven for 2 to 3 minutes, just until the cheese melts.
  9. Serve immediately while warm, allowing people to pull pieces apart.

Notes

  • You can use fresh garlic or jarred minced garlic for this recipe.
  • For extra flavor, add 1/4 teaspoon of dried Italian seasoning to the butter mixture.
  • If you do not have dinner rolls, you can use frozen, thawed, and slightly separated biscuit dough pieces.
