For the longest time, the best thing I made for dinner was a reservation. My kitchen was a museum of pristine, unused appliances. I was busy, career-focused, and convinced that cooking was a talent I simply wasn’t born with. Then, I met Liam.
He never tried to teach me, not at first. Instead, he started a delivery service just for me. A container of soup left on my desk after a long meeting. A simple pasta dish waiting for me when I got home late. These weren’t grand romantic gestures; they were quiet messages, delivered warm, that said, “I know you’re tired.
